The following banks are known to not provide information to other banks, about whether or not a check has cleared.  This usually means that a check will require 10 working days (2 weeks) to clear.  This list is not complete.  Please note that it is the customer's responsibility to determine the policies of their bank.

  • United California
  • Wells Fargo

If you would like to receive your order earlier, a certified check is an inexpensive way to shorten the lead time (the check clears immediately).  Another way would be to use Express Mail, Federal Express, or another similar method.  Please note that only the USPS can deliver to PO boxes.  For other delivery methods, please E-mail ACCS for an address.

The most expensive way to receive an order faster would be to request faster shipping.  This is available, but not normally recommended.
